Biography

Tripuraneni Vishnu Sankara Rao was born on 15.12.1915 in Angaluru as the third child of Gopaiah and Tulasamma into the Tripuraneni family which is famous for its various academic and professional sons and daughters over the generations. As his father died at a very young age, he had no fatherly guidance. After secondary education he started books and stationary business, and ran it until the age of 60 in an honest and principled way, which is currently being run by Ranga&Co with the same ethos. Tripuraneni Vishnu Sankara Rao turned his mind to spirituality at a very young age and became a disciple of Sri Pranavaananda swami of Pranavasram ,Gudivada, Krishna Dst, Andhrapradesh, India . He was known for his generosity and kindness. He was a decent family man, raised his children with traditional values, educated, guided and supported them until they had a firm footing in life and then completely devoted his time towards discussions, speeches and writing articles about different aspects of Advaita philosophy. After the three books were published he moved to England in 1993 to live with his family and left the body on 23rd March 2004.
